BIO.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – is a football player of mixed Gabon-French descent. He is currently playing for Borussia Dortmund and has been signed as a replacement for Mario Götze at the beginning of the 203/2014 Bundesliga season. Aubameyang started his international career at AC Milan in Italy but failed to get hold of a first team spot. Subsequently he was loaned out to OSC Lille and AS Monaco. In 2011 he was loaned out to St. Etienne, which did eventually buy him after he managed to score 16 goals in 36 games during his first season. After another successful season at the club he was sold to Dortmund in 2013 where he signed a contract until 2018. In his Bundesliga debut on the 10th of August 2013, away against FC Augsburg he managed to score three goals in his first game for the club. Aubameyang is believed to be the fastest player in professional football, his speed was described by Dortmund manager Klopp as a “fierce quality” and is one of Aubameyang’s key skills. During his time at AC Milan, ‘Auba’ ran 30 metres in just 3.7 seconds, a faster split than world and Olympic 100 metre champion and world-record holder Usain Bolt.
